Title: Children of War
MEDIUM: Hand painted, Airbrush , Spraypaint , Over 500+ Army Figures, Resing coating .
Collection: Single Edition Art
SIZE: 34" x 46"
Children of War is built from over 500 hand-painted army figures, forming a powerful collage of a young child in army gear. With the quote, “They thought they could bury us; they didn’t know we were seeds,” this piece speaks to the resilience and strength born out of struggle. When you click a button, a light shines on the canvas, and the soldiers’ shadows grow on the frame—symbolizing resistance rising. The vision is simple: Click to see the resistance grow. This artwork is a tribute to those who refuse to be buried, who rise against the odds, and whose spirit stands tall, even in the darkest places.
While I don’t intend to sell this piece, I am offering it to select businesses in the metro Detroit area as part of a revolving gallery, creating opportunities to showcase it in spaces that resonate with its message. Ultimately, I hope Children of War finds its home somewhere that reflects these values, where its message of resilience and hope can reach those who need it most.
