Introduction
Karma by Design (“Karma by Design,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a custom art and décor brand operated by House of Karma Creative Agency LLC, based in Detroit, Michigan. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, purchase of artwork, and any related services or communications. By placing an order, submitting a form, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Products & Services
Karma by Design specializes in custom and made-to-order artwork and décor, including but not limited to framed prints, canvas artwork, custom pieces, limited editions, and installation-ready art. All artwork is created based on client specifications, selections, or approvals.
Custom Orders & Production
Most Karma by Design pieces are custom or made to order. Production timelines vary based on scope, materials, and customization level. Estimated timelines are provided at the time of order but are not guaranteed and may change due to production or shipping factors.
Payments & Deposits
Custom artwork requires a non-refundable deposit to begin production. Remaining balances are due prior to completion, shipment, or installation unless otherwise agreed in writing. Orders will not be released or shipped until payment is received in full.
No Refunds / Returns
Due to the custom and made-to-order nature of our artwork, all sales are final. Refunds or returns are not accepted once production has begun. If an item arrives damaged, you must contact us promptly with photos of the packaging and artwork so we can assess and resolve the issue.
Shipping & Fulfillment
Shipping methods and carriers are selected based on artwork size and destination. Tracking information will be provided when available. Karma by Design is not responsible for carrier delays, customs issues, or incorrect shipping information provided by the client.
Ownership & Intellectual Property
Ownership of the physical artwork transfers to the client once payment is made in full. All intellectual property rights, including copyrights and reproduction rights, remain with Karma by Design unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to photograph and display completed artwork for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless a written request to opt out is submitted prior to production. Unauthorized reproduction, resale, duplication, or commercial use of artwork or designs is strictly prohibited.
SMS / Text Messaging
By providing your phone number, you may receive SMS messages from Karma by Design related to custom orders, production updates, shipping notifications, tracking information, delivery coordination, and customer support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP or request assistance by replying HELP. Consent to receive order-related SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.
Optional Marketing Messages
Marketing and promotional text messages, including new artwork releases and special offers, are optional and require separate, explicit opt-in consent. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP.
SMS Data Protection
Mobile information and SMS opt-in data will not be shared with affiliates, partners, or third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS data may only be shared with service providers necessary to deliver messaging services, such as messaging platforms and carriers.
Artwork Variations & Disclaimer
Artwork is handcrafted and may include natural variations in texture, color, or finish. These variations are part of the artistic process and are not considered defects. All products and services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Karma by Design and House of Karma Creative Agency LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
